Sonic Studios are now open for business. We specialise in taking new artists and giving them a cost effective option for demo recording. We supply not only professional recordings but exclusive video content for each artist or band all bundled into one affordable package.

Bands/solo artists: Record a demo 

With our Studio Days package all artists will get access to our state of the art recording studio and a fully qualified engineer who will record at least two tracks per day. You'll go away with a two or four track CD to help you get yourself heard. 

We will video the whole process and produce either an exclusive video diary of the recording session or a music video for one of the tracks that can be easily uploaded and used as essential promo material for your band. We'll also give you space on our Sonic Academy Artists page.

Recently we have been involved in recording local bands such as A Plastic Rose and The Rupture Dogs.

DJs: Make a mix in a day

Want to give yourself the best chance at getting that big DJ gig? A Studio Day with Sonic Academy will give you the chance to create your own DJ mix, with help from our expert tutor.

Whether you use vinyl, CDJs, Traktor, Serato, Ableton or double tape decks we have the technology here to get the best out of you and get it recorded. Not only do you get multiple copies of your hour-long mix plus web space to host it, we will give you a quick time video version of the mix for upload, a social network presence of your choice, a Soundcloud account, promo pics for your website and exclusive profile space on our Sonic Academy Artists page.

Producers: Make a Track in a Day

If you want to give yourself the best chance at getting your track signed, come to Sonic Academy where our expert DJ tutors will spend a day in the studio with you and help you to sequence, mix, record and master the perfect track.

Whether you're into house, techno, trance, hip-hop or any genre in between we can get your ideas down and turn them into a dance floor monster.
