How do i get a free trial?
We occasionally run free trials to our subscription plans. Only if you are a new subscriber are you eligible for a free trial.
We offer a 7 day money back guarantee on our trials, so if you forget to cancel before the trial is over simply contact us within 7 days of your payment for a full refund.
If you cannot see an option for a free trial above, it means you are either uneligible (you've previously had a subscription / trial with us), or we are not running a free trial
Why should i join Sonic Academy instead of watching videos on YouTube?
We have been making music production tutorials for over 20 years. Prior to that we were teaching classrooms of students as well as 1 to 1 tuition in our Training School, so we have a lot of experience in teaching music production.
Our goal has always been to show you WHY we do something and not just how to do it.

We only bring in established artists onto our site who we fully believe in and who are able to confidently and capably teach. We don't just teach you how to use software, we show you how to make music!
Am I locked into a contract
We have 3 plans available to choose from. A Monthly plan with no commitment - this can be cancelled at any time from your account page.
We also have 2 Yearly plans, one is billed upfront in full and the other is spread across 12 months - you can cancel the plan that is spread across 12 months only after the 12th payment is made. The Yearly plan billed upfront can be cancelled at any time from your account page.
If you do not want to commit to the 12 months then simply select the Monthly plan, there is no commitment with this plan and it can be cancelled at any time. The other 2 plans offer a discount as you are taking the full year.
Do I get to download and keep the video tutorials?
Our video tutorials are streamed to your device so you will require an active internet connection to watch them. They cannot be downloaded to your computer as part of the subscription so once your subscription lapses, so will your access to the video tutorials.
Each course can be purchased and downloaded for offline viewing if you wish to do so, and we offer a 50% discount on the price of each course if you are subscribed to any of our plans.
Do I get to keep the Subscription Plugins?
The plugins we offer as part of our subscription are only active for the duration of your plan. You can purchase a perpetual license to our plugins at any time and you can keep them forever.
