Course description
Following on from his video checking out Ableton's new Meld Synth, P-LASK checks out some more exciting features in the up-and-coming release of Ableton Live 12, this time focussing on the Scale Awareness function and some of the new MIDI Tools available.
Starting with the Scale Awareness function, we look at how staying in key becomes easier in Ableton Live 12 and how we can use it in the updated arpeggiator and chord plugins. We then check out some of the new MIDI tools that can help compose new drum patterns and chords - all with a visually pleasing updated user interface.
It looks like generating new ideas and inspiration is about to get easier with Ableton Live 12, and that can only be a good thing!
