In this epic sound design video, P-LASK recreates the bassline from Skrillex, Fourtet and Fred Again..'s awesome track 'Baby Again..' using Kick 2.
Using the often overlooked key-tracking feature in Kick 2, Paul sets about getting the pitch envelope, length and amp envelope right before adding distortion compression and EQ to nail the initial sound. We then bounce the MIDI to audio and moves into Ableton's clip envelope to automate a subtle pitch bend over certain notes to nail the sound.
