This week, we welcome back Taylor Franklyn for a new 'How To Make' course as he creates an Ambient Chill track from start to finish.
With this style, it's more about the melodic elements taking you on a journey and focusing on atmosphere and feeling rather than beats and rhythm. We begin with a time-stretched drone and laying down a simple chord progression along with a lush evolving pad and arps before adding some chilled drums, bass, and effects.
