Course description

This week, we welcome back Ableton guru P-LASK for a new 'How To Sound Like ' course, where he's focusing on capturing the style of Dutch DJ and Producer Chris Stussy.

In this three-and-a-half-hour course, Paul builds this awesome track from the ground up. We start by listening to some of Chris Stussy's tracks to understand what elements and features we want to replicate before laying down the drums using a 909 kit. We then move into the melodic elements, designing our Bass, Lead, and synth parts along with a vocoder vocal part.
After creating some scenes in Session view, we then tackle the arrangement before adding transition effects, mixing the track, and finally mastering so the track is at a competitive level and can be played out.

As always with P-LASK, this course is easy to follow along and packed full of tips, tricks, and workflow hacks aimed at producers of all levels, so get stuck in and get creative!
