This week, we welcome back Emmy award-winning audio engineer - Taylor Franklyn for a new epic course on How To Write a Soundtrack.
As a producer, you have to take a different approach when writing for video. The rules and structure you're used to can vary significantly and your job is to enhance and support the video rather than the other way around.
Over these ten videos, Taylor takes you through the process from start to finish, firstly learning how to mark out the important areas and nailing the percussion so it aligns with the cuts and edits. We also tackle structure, synth sound design, orchestral layering, spot effects and more.
