King Unique is back with us again this week and continues on from his awesome 'Kick-Ass Vocal Effects' course diving deeper into the world of vocals by scrapping the mic altogether to look at Using Virtual Vocalists.
With the popularity of synthesized vocalists growing to the point of selling out live gigs in Japan, this is a topic that demands a closer look. From the (slightly disturbing) history to where we are now, Matt checks out some of the software available both free and paid, and demonstrates how they sound and how we can make them more expressive.
