kind of a weird break.. Think about how much of an event the Kick is in a club.. having it come in and out without real fanfar or big reason for it weakens its impact... "Bring the Bass BACK!!!" such a big thing when thinking about arrangment. Just try to imagine yourself on the dancefloor and how it might feel. Also one of the best things you can do to learn arrangemnet is just chuck a track you like on the timeline and split it up and name all the sections... try to coly the general arrangement... ive done it so many times with great success... dont be afraid to reference a lot while you are learning... its the way!0 Reply -
Love the pounding kick... This is totally personal preferance but i really like the main hats and claps to not have reverb... sound more solid and clubby to me... the incidental hits and ear candy percussion should have some deep reverb.. this helps to add those layers of interest... layers od dry vs layers of wet percs... adds depth.0 Reply
