Bound To Divide

Julian van Straten AKA Bound to Divide is a South African-born producer living in the coastal town of Bournemouth, UK. Growing up in the 2000's punk-rock & nu-metal era Julian first got his taste for music playing in highschool rock bands and going to concerts. It wasn't until his early 20's where he discovered electronic music through artists like deadmau5 & Skrillex that he would then fall in love with club music. In 2015 he began his music production journey as a hobby, which rapidly turned into an obsession and just 4 years later a full time career as a Sound Designer, YouTuber and DJ/Producer. With releases on notable labels like Enhanced Colorize, Monstercat Silk, UV, and Sekora, as well as playing shows across the UK and Europe he is quickly building a name for himself in the underground dance music scene. Bound to Divide's music combines elements from Melodic & Progressive House, Techno, Breakbeats and Trance as well as drawing from his love for Rock & Metal to create his own unique, signature sound.
