The duo comprises Ian Bertles and Ryan Howard, who collectively breathe life into the Truth x Lies persona. At the core of their music lies their concept-driven approach to music production, a response to the realization that truth cannot exist without lies, and vice versa. Truth x Lies' artistic identity reflects their tonal alignment with two specific sonic counterparts: dark, evocative tech house with an aggressive, after-hours body to it, and lighter, modern tech house that ebbs with clean control, they traverse both sides of the underground with equal ease, striking a balance between old-school and "new-school" elements that yield envelope-pushing bass lines, synths, and beats. The name "Truth x Lies" may ring a bell, and for good reason. Flashback to 2017, to Truth x Lies’ resume-expanding accolade: victors of the Insomniac Discovery Project with their first original production, "City Lights,'' showcasing their innate talent and dancefloor dexterity. But
that was only the beginning for these two ambitious artists. In the same year, Truth x Lies emerged victorious in BONNIE X CLYDE's Bass Jam Remix Competition for their remix of the Wanted EP. Since then, their ascent in the world of tech house has been unstoppable, with numerous releases on veneered labels like In/Rotation, Sink or Swim, Techne, Night Service Only, and hau5trap.

Over the past two years, Truth x Lies comfortably nestled within the rising class of burgeoning tech-house producers. To date, their catalog has amassed over 25 million streams across all music platforms, with their December-released, "Take Me Away," securing them the #1 position on Beatport's Hype Tech House chart, #2 on their Hype Overall chart, and #15 on their Tech House Top 100. The electronic scene has taken notice of the dui, garnering support from dance fixtures such as Zeds Dead, Sidepiece, AC Slater, Wax Motif, Martin Garrix, CID,
Tiesto, James Hype, Dombresky, Noizu, Martin Ikin, Pasquale Rotella, and many others.

Recently, the duo has been seen behind the decks at major festivals like Beyond Wonderland, EDC Las Vegas, Electric Zoo, and Groove Cruise Miami, as well as prominent venues such as Echostage, Academy LA, Exchange, and Ogden Theatre. They have provided support for
